The Bakers' Brewery Reviews
Great for a pit stop on the way to the mountains. They extended their kitchen hours to serve us and 5 other parties who were stuck in I-70 traffic on the way to the ski resorts. We really appreciated this. The food and beers were great too. I got the chicken wings! I also liked how we could watch the NCAA March madness basketball games on their multiple TV screens.
Wow! They grew up. The beer has way more flavor. It just works. It's a completely new menu since my original review. Much better than the sub-par bar food from my previous review. The bread is great! Flavorful sausages and tasty beer & cheese soup. My husband also gave the bread from his sandwich praises. The chicken juicy & bacon tender.
Cool local low key brewery with good no fuss food and friendly service. They have bands on weekends so you can just come enjoy the atmosphere and music with a drink as they have a nice selection of beers, wine and cocktails. I had the fish & chips which was perfectly crispy and fresh tasting, and the hunter's pie made with ground elk I tasted was delicious (I was worried it might be too gamy, not at all!). There a is a lot more I'd love to try, will have to go back!
Not sure why this place got such mediocre reviews but I felt like it was such a pleasant experience. We got seated immediately and our server came out multiple times to ensure we have what we need. When drinks got low, they came back to ask for refill. We put our order of kiddo's mac and cheese in first while we looked at the menu, her food came out shortly after we ordered. Food was fairly heavy but flavorful and well cooked. So adjust your expectations if you're looking for something lighter.
Love love love this little local spot. No frills. But great service. And great casual food and beers.
